ATTENTION TO ALL NSIAAA MEMBERS

The Certified Athletic Administrators exam will be administered at the Nebraska State Athletic Administrators Association's fall convention in Grand Island on October 4, 1998. Athletic Administrators that are interested in taking the CAA exam can call Gerry Gdowski at Fremont High School at 402-727-3050.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING COURSE TO BE OFFERED AT FALL CONVENTION

During the Fall Convention in Grand Island the NSIAAA has the opportunity to have an instructor present who can begin the series of Leadership Training courses that are offered by the NIAAA. The Executive Board of the NSIAAA strongly believes these Leadership courses would provide valuable information and training to the membership of our organization.

The initial course to be offered will be Leadership 504 (LTC 504). This course is specifically designed to cover Legal Issues and Strategies in Athletics. The cost would be $49.00 for a NSIAAA/NIAAA member. The fee must be paid at the time you return your Clinic Reservation Form but it must be returned no later than September 15 to guarantee receipt of the appropriate materials from the NIAAA. The course will be offered on Sunday, October 4 from about 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

We hope that each of you strongly considers taking this course. If not this year, then year. We are fortunate to have Mr. John Olson of Madison, Wisconsin volunteer to come in and teach the course. However, to secure John's services we need at least 10 individuals to register in advance for the course.
